GERMAN RIBBON BAR 2 SET - EAST WINTER & ENTRY INTO SUDENTENLAND MEDALS - ORIGINAL

This is an original ribbon bars with two ribbons and a medal pin.  Sizes of each ribbon are 1.5 cm. Very good condition. Comes with:

1.  East Winter Campaign  1941-42 Medal
2.  Entry into Sudetenland Medal

A ribbon bar is a small ribbon, issued to a service person just as a larger ribbon would be, as an award for military service of some type.  These are issued to wear in place of having to wear the actual medals.  Ribbon bars can also come with miniature medals mounted to the corresponding ribbon.  The small ribbons are normally mounted on an underlying small metal bar that will have an attaching device such as a pin.  In war times ribbon bars could have been mounted on scraps of uniform on insignia backing material.

These are worn on dress uniforms and can be displayed on both the left or right side of the jacket.
