Solid brass piler for the US Colt model 1911 pistol. These were issued with the WWI Colt 1911 quad cleaning kit and usually removed by officers and taken for the maintenance of their own personally issued Colt 1911's.

The lower is approximately 5 1/2" tall (with the Spout), about 3" wide, and about 1" thick. The spout itself is about 2 5/8" long and about 5/16" in wide, and both spout and cap screw on and off easily. The brass chain is attached to the spout and screw-on cap. Excellent condition 100% original.
